BARBARA WACCARD OBITUARY

Barbara A. Waccard
February 1, 1945 - July 20, 2022
Fort Mill, South Carolina - Mrs. Waccard, 77, passed away on July 20, 2022.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24th from 5-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 25th 11:55am at Our Lady of Grace with Father Kirby Celebrant and she will be laid to rest at 2:30pm at Sharon Memorial Park in the mausoleum.
Barbara was born February 1, 1945 to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Ernenwein) McDermott and was raised in Oneida, NY. She graduated Onondaga Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. There she met the love of her life Dan, whom she married in 1967. She was a loving and dedicated mother and had a gift of connecting with her family and her many friends. She had a passion for maintaining the perfect home, filling it with personality, love and attention to detail.
She is survived by her children John Waccard and Cristene Colistra (David); brother Dan McDermott (Marie); grandchildren Dean and Cal and niece Molly Polk. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dan and brothers Jim and William "Billy" McDermott.
