Carol A. Miller, 78, of Oneida Street, Durhamville, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 19, 2023.Born in Oneida on February 3, 1945, she was the daughter of John T. and Mary Clark McKay. A lifelong resident of the area, Carol was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 1964 and Morrisville State College.Prior to her retirement, Carol was employed as a registered nurse for Rome Correctional Facility, Gerrit Smith and Oneida City Hospital. She was of the Catholic faith and loved her grandchildren and her dogs.Surviving are: one daughter, Bridgitte Miller of East Norriton, PA; one son, Ronald (Kelly) Miller of Durhamville; four grandchildren, Jeremy Miller, Ryan Miller, Ronald Miller Jr. and Olivia Miller; four great-grandchildren, Thomas, Giavanna, Eva and Jay and a brother, William D. (Sue) McKay of Wampsville. She was predeceased by two sisters, Eva 'Sue' Fera on October 21, 2022 and Mary Jane Mutz on April 25, 1997 and a brother, John C. McKay on January 16, 2011.Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from St. Patrick's Church, where the funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Reverend James Buttner. Interment will be made in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, on Tuesday, from 10:30AM to 12:30PM, prior to the funeral Mass.
