Rosalind "Rosie" White, 51, of 303 W. Seneca St. died Tuesday at the home of her daughter in Oneida Castle after a long illness.
Mrs. White lived most of her life in Oneida and was a graduate of Oneida High School. She had lived in Sherrill since 1978.
She and her husband owned the DeDells Motel in Sherrill. She formerly worked at the Hamblin-Munz and Haskell Insurance Agency in Oneida. She was a member and past president of Sherrill American Legion Post 230.
Mrs. White collected dolls. She contributed to many missionary orders.
Surviving are her husband, Lee "Red"; a daughter, Robin DeRosa of Oneida Castle; a stepdaughter, Susan Relyea of Canastota; two stepsons, William of Oneonta and John of Syracuse; three sisters, Joanne Kelsey of Latrobe, Pa., Marie Schmutz of San Antonio, Texas, and Anna Snyder of Verona; a grandson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial Mass is 1 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Church, Oneida, the Rev. William Lorenz officiating. Burial is in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida.
There are no calling hours.
