Jack Sutton

 

 

John E. "Jack" Sutton, 67, of 1301 Union St., died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, 2011, at his residence, following a long illness, with his loving family at his side.
He was born Feb. 10, 1944, in Oneida, the son of William and Delora Beebe Sutton.
On Aug. 3, 1985 he was united in marriage to the former Doreen Grover.
Mr. Sutton had been employed as a carpenter for the Alan-Patrick Builders of Chittenango for over 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Doreen; two daughters, Julie Hillenbrand of Remsen and Rhonda Mike of Suffern; two step-sons and a daughter-in-law, Gregory and Donna Hawes of Oneida and Gary Hawes Sr. of Camden; four grandchildren, Geoffrey Ingersoll, Gary Hawes Jr. and his companion, Kari Kimball, Jessica Hawes and Hannah Hawes.
At Mr. Sutton's request services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no hours of public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., Oneida.
